"Who Knows Where the Bird Goes?" – Dana Lam: Six Decades of Practice celebrated the remarkable career of Singapore artist Dana Lam, showcasing works that span over six decades of artistic practice. Presented as part of The AGEncy Fest, the exhibition invited visitors to explore her creative journey through drawings, paintings, archival materials, and personal works, creating a thoughtful experience that reflected the evolution of her art.

To bring the exhibition together, Paper Carpenter designed and fabricated a series of custom exhibition displays, including freestanding display walls, illuminated artwork panels, and large display tables that showcased sketches, reference materials, and archival pieces. Each exhibition display was designed to complement the artwork while allowing visitors to move comfortably through the gallery and engage with the collection at their own pace.

Rather than competing for attention, the exhibition structures provided a clean and understated backdrop that kept the focus on Dana Lam's work. The warm-toned finishes and carefully planned layout helped create a calm viewing experience, demonstrating how thoughtful exhibition design and well-crafted display panels can support storytelling within a gallery space.
