Experience is at the heart of how people connect with spaces, especially in fast-moving environments. At FHA Food & Beverage, where the food and hospitality industry gathers to showcase innovation and exchange ideas, design shapes how people move, explore, and engage.
We had the privilege to create an experience together with Sia Huat through our thoughtfully crafted booth design. Built entirely with cardboard, the space brought their extensive range of kitchenware to life in a way that felt both approachable and immersive.
Our contribution focused on translating this wide product range into a clear and structured environment. Using cardboard as the primary material, we designed and fabricated modular display frames, bar style counters, seating areas, and feature installations, forming a cohesive and functional system.
By combining structure with an understanding of user movement, the booth became an intuitive walkthrough experience. Visitors were naturally guided through different touchpoints, making it easy to browse and engage within a busy exhibition setting.
The design was driven by the goal of making complexity feel simple. Inspired by everyday kitchen interactions, the space was shaped to feel open and familiar. At the same time, it pushed the boundaries of cardboard, elevating it from a temporary material into a durable structural solution capable of supporting both furniture and architectural elements.
